Sustainable management of surface water quality in major rivers (Tien, Hau and Vam Nao rivers) in An Giang province. -
Research content
- Assess the current status and propose a surface water environmental monitoring network in the main rivers of An Giang province through multivariate analysis (PCA, CA, DA)

Analyze the pollution load of waste sources and evaluate the carrying capacity of main rivers in An Giang province.

Forecasting surface water quality in An Giang's main river basin in the context of economic development using the MIKE 21 water quality model.
Methods of research
- Information collection: surface water quality data of major rivers from 2010 to 2022, surface water quality monitoring, related policies.
- Data analysis: using multivariate statistical methods including cluster analysis (CA), principal components/factors (PCA/FA), discriminant analysis (DA).
- Forecasting surface water quality: using the Mike 21 model to forecast main river surface water quality in the context of economic development.
